Specialized training courses
The Jordanian Financial Experts Association implements an annual program for specialized courses that includes a number of topics for a period of one to five days.
Targeted by specialized courses:
Specialized training courses targets mainly the association members and others who have continuing vocational education requirements and certain points that they must fulfill each year by attending the specialized courses they desire.
There are also specialized courses for individuals and institutions working in the field of the profession who wish to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical and applied skills in the profession of accounting and auditing, corporate governance and other related fields.
Method for selecting specialized course topics:
The Jordanian Financial Experts Association follows up on developments in the profession from various sources to identify issues that can be offered as specialized courses within the framework of its annual program.
It also polls the opinions of its members, affiliates, and other beneficiaries of the specialized courses program in the public and private sectors, in order to identify issues of importance for inclusion as training courses in its annual program.
Then it prepares a proposal for a specialized training program throughout the year and presents it to the Education and Training Association Committee of the Jordanian Financial Experts in order to study and discuss the proposed topics, verify their suitability, make the adjustments that it sees and approves the program.
Preparing training materials for specialized courses:
The Jordanian Financial Experts Association works through the Department of Training and Professional Development and in coordination with academics and professionals cooperating with the Society to determine the detailed elements of each topic of the courses listed in the approved annual program. These elements are discussed and verified as covering the aspects of the topic for each course separately and in an integrated manner. One or more advisors are chosen to prepare the training bag according to specific conditions that includes:
- Commitment to prepare the training material according to the specific elements of the subject of the course.
- Preparing comprehensive detailed notes covering all elements of the topic.
- Ensure that the explanation is clear and sufficient.
- Ensure the appropriateness of the explanatory style in the notes and the soundness of the language.
- Preparing practical examples, practical cases, solutions and model answers required by the subject of the course.
- Preparing a PowerPoint presentation for use in explaining the topics of the session.
- Providing references and resources that were used to prepare the training bag.
Places to hold specialized courses:
The Jordanian Financial Experts Association implements the specialized courses program in each of the city of Amman, and a hotel is contracted to provide the training hall and equip it with the necessary requirements for the course and provide services for the trainees.
Trainers:
The Association of Jordanian trained financial experts carefully selects the persons assigned to the task of providing specialized training courses for academics and professionals experience, depending on the nature of the subject of the course.
Fees for participating in specialized training courses:
The value of participation in specialized courses is (500) Jordanian dinars per person.
Discounts are granted to corporate members, individuals and students.
Method of providing specialized courses:
Specialized course delivery method includes:
- Lectures to explain the theoretical aspects and review professional and technical standards related to the topic of the course.
- Group discussion to allow the trainees the opportunity to interact and benefit from each other’s experiences and exchange their experiences.
- Present practical cases and applicable examples by dividing the participants in the course into groups to allow them to group discussion and interact with the rest of their colleagues in the course.
Trainees’ Opinion Survey:
The Jordanian Financial Experts Association is keen to seek the opinions of the trainees participating in each specialized course on the extent of general satisfaction with the training material and the trainer who implemented the course, through a special questionnaire that includes a number of questions to evaluate the course and the trainer.
The results of the survey are analyzed after each session to improve the material and the method of submitting the courses.
Available Course: Writing financial reports Based on IFRS
Course objective:
- Providing the participants with the special skills to achieve financial and periodic reports and financial reports for the special purposes that the department or external parties need.
- Refine participants ’skills in the field of financial information and transfer it efficiently and effectively in the form of a financial report in accordance with international best practices.
- Providing the participants with the latest methods of preparation and an effective system for financial reporting, by identifying the information needs of the administration and reviewing the current administrative systems to identify weaknesses for their treatment and strengths to support and benefit from them.
